Jeremy Lang is preparing for his next fight. That means, he’s in “The Landlord” mode.
The Landlord is in action this weekend at an event presented by CFX and Bud Light. Full Contact Cage Fighting will be at the Stardome in Waite Park (near St. Cloud).
Lang is sharing a loaded card with UFC veterans Shonie Carter and Gideon Ray and prospect Nate Schut.
Lang, who is originally from Springfield, Minn., and now lives in St. Cloud, is 19-1 during his career, which began in 2006. He’s a former high school and St. Cloud State wrestling, and he still helps out in the SCSU wrestling room as a volunteer coach.
Lang received his nickname “The Landlord” after college because he got into real estate. He’s quickly climbed the MMA ranks and already earned a shot in the WEC. There, Lang suffered his only loss, falling to Tim McKenzie at WEC 34. Lang was dominating the fight, but McKenzie caught him in a guillotine choke in the third round.
The Landlord will square off against Gabe Wallbridge on Saturday.
Minnesota MMA News caught up with The Landlord while he was preparing for his battle against Wallbridge.
